Give a book this Christmas

Dear supporters

We cannot thank you enough for your support this year, we have been completely overwhelmed by the generosity of South Africans (and people from outside SA this year)!  We have one last request for 2014. We feel that books are so valuable to the education of children and ask that if you have R129 per month if you could sponsor a monthly book subscription to one of our homes that we support that is in need? This is also a great way for corporates to get involved – R 129 pm. For more information on a list of our children’s homes that we support, please email info@thegracefactory.co.za

One of the first of its kind, KidsBookClub.co.za officially launched in South Africa in April 2014. Working in a similar way to how a magazine subscription works, subscribers to the club will receive two or more books for their children every month, delivered to their door.

These are books that have been carefully selected for their child’s age and stage, from birth up to seven years old. Along with these, subscribers will also be sent three or four free backdated magazines to enjoy.

Subscribers will be sent a monthly email explaining why they’ve been sent their particular books and how to get the most out of them with their children. KidsBookClub.co.za will be working in association with children’s publisher Priddy Books to offer a wide selection of titles including touch-and-feel, cloth and board books for younger children, up to activity books and readers for older kids.

A subscription costs R129 per month for two or more kids books and there are no joining fees, plus you can cancel at any time. Delivery to your door (which normally costs around R40 through other online retailers) is included in this price. And you also get three or four free glossy magazines, which are themselves worth around R100 to R120.

Subscribers also receive a discount on their total fee if they buy more than one subscription. Adding your second child costs R90, while a third just R80. For every subscription sold each month, R1 will be donated to the Bokamoso Education Trust, a charity that supports schooling for disadvantaged children.

You can also manage your subscriptions quickly and easily online. KidsBookClub.co.za is excited to now be offering best-selling kids books, delivered monthly to your door.
