Many people have asked what we are doing for Mandela Day and the simple answer is, same thing we do all other days. As we are a charity and our work is not limited to one day a year, this Mandela Day its “business as usual”, we’ll be collecting, sorting and dropping off things for children’s homes in need. We also have some exciting news to share soon about ANOTHER maternity pack drive – to be revealed soon.
But BEDFORD CENTRE has been very kind and has chosen us as their charity of choice this Mandela Day! They will be collecting nappies, blankets, clothes, toys, bum cream, wet wipes etc. at the Bedford centre from today until Saturday. So if you are in the area and keen to donate, please do so.
