In mid August my husband, dad and brother will be cycling the GRUELLING TRANS BAVIAANS!! If you’ve never heard of this race, it is a 230km race in the Baviaanskloof region, through the night!! All on a MOUNTAIN BIKE (think ouchy bums). They have been training every weekend for the last few months, eating healthily, sleeping well – all in an effort to complete this race together as a FAMILY team. Please note my dad (Richard, 57) has cycled for more than ten years, my brother (Matthew, 25) for about two years and my husband (Damien, 29) for 6 months…..My father in law (Rob, 54) will be driving the support vehicle, so this is a 100% family event!!!!
And if all that family spirit isn’t enough – they are RIDING FOR MY PURPOSE – THE GRACE FACTORY!!!!
